January 30 is Family Day at Heroes Martial Arts!

"I came to Heroes after being invited by my friend to come out and roll.  As I walked in to the academy, I was pleasantly surprised to find out big and spacious the mat was.  The pictures don't really do it justice how much mat space there is.  I was greeted by owner/ head instructor Gumby and openly welcomed into the gym. The facility is top notch: Swain mats over 2400sqft, restrooms and private changing rooms, water fountain.   I came as the team was getting their last training in before a tournament so Gumby worked mainly on fixing small mechanics.  His teaching method is very methodical and detail oriented.  I felt was very specific in his concept that he wanted to teach. I only expected to come for an open mat and I ended up staying for 2 and half hours. There are lots of choices in the Silicon Valley for Jiu-jitsu, but I highly recommend Heroes for anybody at any skill level.  Not only for the great instruction and facility, but for the friendly environment as well. I will definitely come back to train here"
