This week we begin the Fundamentals Rotation anew, having come to the end of our 11 week cycle last week. Don’t think of Fundamentals as being “beginner” techniques! While the Fundamentals classes are designed to be very novice friendly, students of all levels of Jiu Jitsu can always sharpen their basic skill set as well. In truth, advancing your skill set is often a matter of practicing your basics against more and more advanced competitors!
This week will be the fundamentals of posture and basic closed guard work. These are skills everyone can continue to develop!
These are also excellent classes for a brand new student to start with! Remember, we are still having our win an iPad contest from now until October. Student who gets the most sign ups will win a free iPad!
As we begin to prepare for upcoming events, fitness coach Scott Belzer has designed a Fitness program designed to work our strength and conditioning. Each week before the event we will post a new workout. Workouts are simple and able to be performed with all of the equipment we have at Heroes!

"Facility: Very nice and perfect for grappling, as the mats are new and the entire facility is nice.
Instructors: I've been going to the BJJ classes, and enjoy the instruction and the techniques given. The formatting of the class is great.
Price: By far you get a lot of value as the prices are reasonable , and the only place i know of in the Bay Area where you can pay on a "month to month" basis without having to commit to a yearlong contract.
Great place to train!! " - Read more testimonials »
