Weight Loss Contest Winner

Check out a svelte Eric Eugenio, winner of our weigh loss contest!  Through hard work and exercise, Eric had the largest weight loss (percentage wise) of our participating contestants.  Aside from feeling and looking better, Eric also earns an OTM gi for his efforts!

Way to go Eric, and congrats to everyone who participated and continued to get more fit!

Congrats to Michael Huang: New Purple Belt!

Congratulations are in order for Michael Huang, who was awarded his purple belt by Gumby this morning!  Anyone who has had the opportunity to train with Mike will attest to him being a true technical terror on the mat, and he’s constantly seeking to improve his game.

Mike is also directly responsible for talking Gumby into starting the 7 AM class, (no easy feat to get Gumby out of bed that early).  As it turns out this was a great move, the 7 AM class has been growing steadily and features some truly awesome training, a really great way to start off your day.

Congrats and well deserved Mike!

Shozo Fukuda filling in for Judo Class!

While Chuck Jefferson is recuperating from knee surgery he is having his friend and fellow SJSU coach Shozo Fukuda teach the judo class.  Shozu is a great technician and an excellent instructor who is particularly adept at making judo friendly for the beginners.  We’re very pleased to have him come in to Heroes Martial Arts while Chuck is recovering (Chuck will still be dropping in however).

Antonio Braga Neto Seminar!

Heroes Martial Arts is proud to present Antonio Braga Neto, the 2008 Mundial No Gi absolute Champion and 2009 Pan American Absolute Champion!  Seminar in April 11th from 1-4.
